FUSION Beam Technology combines casting strength with fabrication flexibility to produce an efficient high-strength manufactured component. The Fusion Beam not only lowers overall system weight, but its ease of manufacturing allows beam length variations for application adaptability without sacrificing strength or beam integrity.

Black Armour - SAF-HOLLAND‘S Advanced Corrosion Protection
The Black Armour metal protection process, unlike a primer, paint or powder coating, chemically bonds with metal to form a protective skin that is impervious to water and anti-icing chemicals. Optional Black Armour is paint compatible without pre-sanding. Black Armour will not shrink and remains flexible to resist gravel impingement. If scratched, Black Armour prevents the spread of creep corrosion.

CBX25 245/Fusion Beam Features
The enhanced cast beam with the fusion of a fabricated tail section reduces component weight without compromising strength or beam integrity. The 24.5˝ length provides a broader range of suspension applications. Designed for rear dump, tanker, specialty and flatbed applications this suspension is one of the lightest weight systems available.
The CBX25 standard configuration features a SAF X-Series 5.75˝ diameter 11 mm wall axle with 16.5" x 7" extended life brake linings and industry standard tapered spindles.
Optional INTEGRAL Disc Brakes available.

CBX25 338 /Fusion Beam Features
The enhanced cast beam with the fusion of a fabricated tail section reduces component weight without compromising strength or beam integrity. The 33.8˝ length provides smoother ride quality, load isolation and added lift travel. This suspension is designed for moderate/heavy-duty flatbed, logger, bulk haulers, and other specialty applications.
The CBX25 standard configuration features a SAF X-Series 5.75˝ diameter 11 mm wall axle with 16.5" x 7" extended life brake linings and industry standard tapered spindles.

5-3/4" Round Axle
The larger SAF 5-3/4" diameter axle is manufactured here in the United States, is more robust for added durability, and increases rigidity by approximately 28%.
Optional 9 mm Wall Axle available for Standard Duty Flatbed Applications.

SAF Drum Brake - Standard
The SAF standard configuration features a 5.75" diameter axle tube with 16.5" x 7" extended life brake linings, intermediate cams, and industry standard tapered spindles.
Available options for the SAF Drum Brake include: Parallel Spindle, Dust Shields, 16.5" x 8.625" Drum Brakes, Fully Dressed Wheel Ends, Automatic Slack Adjusters, Brake Chambers and Tire Inflation Prep.

Ventilation Channels
The rotor is cast from a high-strength friction-friendly alloy with special built-in conical ventilation channels to dissipate heat quickly and efficiently.

INTEGRAL Design
The proprietary bi-metallic rotor assembly works as a system to dissipate heat and control heat transfer. Unlike conventional disc systems that experience uncontrolled heat deformation leading to "hot spots", heat flow in the INTEGRAL™ system allows the rotor to expand in only a radial direction, keeping the braking surface flat and stable. Without lateral rotor deformation, harmful stress cracks and premature brake pad failure is significantly minimized.
